Why Soccer Fundamentals?
Our highly trained coaches will thrill your child with creative, high energy and age-appropriate activities that serve as a great introduction to soccer, and help children master developmental milestones, appropriate for their age.
These 35-minute per week classes take place at your child’s preschool or childcare center, during the day while you work. These do not interfere with their classroom learning time and are designed specifically for each age group. We use our fun and interactive adventures and games to help develop your child’s gross motor skills, self-confidence, social skills, and of course soccer skills!
Our Coaches
Our CEO and founder Kike Ribalta, was born, raised and educated in the game of soccer in Barcelona, Spain. He earned and currently possesses the UEFA professional coaching license. Kike has coached for over 15 years at clubs such as Sant Cugat FC, Cerdanyola del Vallès, and many others. He has trained teams in the highest divisions of Spain. Most recently, he has coached in the United States, in the cities of Houston and San Antonio. He enjoys working with children and teaching them the fundamental skills of soccer.
Coach Mauricio Ramirez is originally from Acapulco, Mexico and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management from the University of the Incarnate Word. Mauricio has 13 years of coaching experience. He currently coaches at a local soccer club. Mauricio possesses the following licenses: USSF ‘A-Youth’ National License, USC Director of Coaching Diploma, and the USYS National Youth License.
Soccer FUNdamentals teaches your child in English & Spanish all of the important soccer skills such as: dribbling, passing, & shooting all while having FUN!
